So, I'm writing a paper on nicknames for a linguistic anthropology class and I thought it would be interesting to gather some data from YOU GUYS. If you have the time, please tell me:

What is your first name, age, and gender--and what are some of your nicknames?
Do you find that only certain people call you these names (friends, family, significant other)?
Do any of them have stories/explanations? Both long and short answers are appreciated. I am also interested in your screen name if you feel that it has some personal significance to you.
